More about me
I'm Carson Forrester, and I've had the pleasure of working in the charter fishing industry for the past 18 years. Fishing has been a heartfelt passion of mine since my childhood days exploring the waters of the Tidewater region and the Outer Banks.
Over the years, I've developed a deep affinity for inshore fishing, pursuing a variety of species such as Puppy Drum, Old Drum (Redfish), Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Bluefish, Cobia, and more. My journey has also taken me offshore as both a mate and captain, where I've hunted the majestic marlin, sailfish, tuna, and mahi from the well-regarded sportfish boats at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center.
Now, I'm thrilled to embark on a new adventure with my own business, focusing on the rich inshore waters and Flats of the Tidewater, Chesapeake Bay, its tributaries, and the Eastern Shore areas of Virginia. Each season brings a variety of thrilling species to target, and I am eager to share these experiences with you.
Our journeys are made even more enjoyable aboard my cherished Cayo 180 Flats boat. This vessel is perfectly suited for light tackle and fly fishing, offering plenty of storage and all the necessary safety equipment to ensure a safe and pleasant outing. I provide a complete set of fly and spin fishing gear, although you are most welcome to bring along your own equipment if you prefer.
Your enjoyment and safety are my utmost priorities, and as such, I ensure that my boat and gear are impeccably maintained for a smooth and delightful day on the water.
I warmly invite you to contact me via call or email to discuss planning your day on the water. It would be an absolute delight to hear from you! I am genuinely excited about this opportunity to share this vibrant fishery with you and your family. Let's make some wonderful memories together!
